Decoder Magazine Kickstarter

Speaking of Decoder Magazine, you’ve got 3 days left to back the print edition of their project on kickstarter.  It features a series of drawing I did based on the Capgras Syndrome.

A few pieces from my recent Capgras series are featured in a recent HUH magazine article curated by Dwight Pavlovic.

I’ll be doing some live drawing next week at Swarm Gallery as part of the current John Casey solo show.  Here’s the details:
Please join us on Wednesday, 11/2/11, 6-9pm, for an evening of live drawing, good food (El TacoBike!!) and beer at Swarm Gallery in Oakland. John Casey hosts 24 local artists who have collaborated in his Hands & Pants project currently on display at Swarm through 11/6/11. Artists will be drawing live and art made that night will be available for sale. Bring cash because you can buy drawings directly from the artists. This is a perfect opportunity to purchase some affordable art from some of the best creative drawerers the Bay Area has to offer. Also, John and Mary Kalin-Casey’s “Call & Response” book will be available for sale. Ah, jeeze, John will also be “DJ-ing” with his iPod. The fun happens between 6-9pm. Come on by, watch artists draw, Be subjected to John’s musical tastes, drink a beer or two, and eat a taco or two with John Casey & Friends!
